On February 27, 2025, Sacred Heart School-Hijas de Jesus was invited by the United States Embassy to the Gizmos Global Innovation Congress and Awarding Ceremony held at the Manila Hotel. The event was represented by Mrs. Richelle Marie T. Caneja.
The congress was punctuated by the Global STEM Competition 2024 Awarding of Champions, where Sacred Heart School-Hijas de Jesus bagged two plaques of recognition for winning the Gold medal for the Gizmos Global STEM Competition-National Level for two(2) consecutive years 2024 to 2025, as well as garnered the prestigious Silver medal for the Primary Years Category-International Level, competing with over 80 countries!
The 2024 competition was participated by the following pupils: Bryce Dylan P. Peña, Rowan Cyril Z. Amora, Milo James A. Cohitmingao, William Ethan C. Chan Lim, Ben Julian C. Bautista, Leigh Julienne S. Go, Soren Sage T. Momongan, and Joaquin Francesco M. Tan, with their mentors Mrs. Stephanie Saguin, Ms. Vida Marie Panangin, and Ms. Jhea Victoria Sadaya for their video entry, The Mysterious Golden Coins.
Remarkably, for the current school year, Sacred Heart School-Hijas de Jesus also received a plaque of recognition for winning the Gold Medal in the 2025 Gizmos Global STEM Competition-National Level, Primary Years Category. The school's entry, The Last Drop, was participated by the following pupils: Soren Sage T. Momongan, Leigh Julienne S. Go, Milo James A. Cohitmingao, Joaquin Francesco M. Tan, Nicola Karyss M. Gephart, Kendall Elexxa O. Co, and Ianna B. Galeos, guided by their mentors Ms. Kyle Irish Sierras and Mme. Stephanie Saguin.
These incredible achievements are testaments to the school’s commitment to excellence. Sacred Heart School-Hijas de Jesus is highly esteemed and humbled to have represented the Philippines, competing internationally in the 2025 Global STEM Competition.
This victory is a positive validation of and a strong nod to- Hijas-Hearters’ hard work, dedication, and passion for excellence. The school extends its heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated teachers and supportive parents for their guidance and encouragement.
