On June 6, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., a solemn procession was held to celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This was attended by the F.I. sisters, faculty and staff, as well as student representatives from our school. Devotees gathered at the church, adorned with flowers and lights, to honor the profound love and compassion symbolized by the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The event began with a mass, followed by a procession through the nearby streets. Participants carried candles, and recited prayers, fostering a spirit of unity and reverence. For the students and members of the Sacred Heart School-Hijas de Jesus family, this celebration holds special significance as it strengthens their connection to the school's values and the teachings of Jesus. Being named after the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the school’s participation in such a meaningful event serves as a reminder that a Sacred Hearter is someone who embodies the virtues of love, compassion, and service every day just like the Sacred Heart of Jesus. As the procession concluded back at the church with a final blessing, it left the attendees spiritually enriched and uplifted.
